PETRONAS FLNG SATU | PETRONAS First Floating LNG (liquefied natural gas) Facility

PETRONAS named its first floating LNG (liquefied natural gas) facility in a ceremony on 4 March 2016 at the DSME shipyard in Okpo, Korea. The PFLNG SATU with a production capacity of 1.2 million tonnes of LNG per year, is expected to be ready for sail away in the second quarter of 2016 and will be moored at Malaysia’s Kanowit gas field, 180 kilometres offshore Sarawak.
