The iconic 'PERODUA KANCIL'
Perodua Kancil is the first small car manufactured by the Second Automobile Company (PERODUA). This iconic vehicle was first launched in 1994 and it was named Kancil in conjunction with the name of a wise beast ever appeared mostly in the Malaysians childhood stories. Despite having a small body, it is not to be looked down as this small guy may be tuned up to 120+BHP and are often seen being used for motorsports in Malaysia especially Kei-car series.
Kancil is the most popular model especially amongst new drivers and women and is most often used by driving schools. It is small, compact and economical in terms of fuel and can be refill on a full tank just by approximately RM40.
This iconic Malaysian car is inspired by the Daihatsu Mira L200s which originate from Japan which is a 3 door hatchback instead of the Malaysia's 4 door hatch.
