So how was On-Board?

As a Cadet whose seatime is complete and returning back to final year you shouldn't be surprised to hear this question every now and then. But how about same question coming out of different persons. So I decided to summarize MY experience on-board, I emphasized on the word 'My' because no two cadets seatime experience would be the same. It will never be. Some say it depends on your fate, others says it your luck. Whatever it might be, every one will have a unique time on-board and exquisite set of events. That doesn't mean that it's a bed of roses, it might even be a one filled with barb wire. If I have to put my Cadet-ship that way I might as well as put it that way.

I've had days with so much fun and laughter, as well as days with emotional breakdown and anger. So in conclusion it's just not about your learning & training, it's about respecting your fellow crew members, working along with them, being patient no matter what and moreover not giving into your feelings. Whether it's hate, love or anger. Enjoy the little things like the sun and moon and the nature talking to you. And I can say that in the end while looking back you will feel proud that you passed through all these hurdles and didn't make a fuss. All the sweat and toiling is what going to build you stronger. Be brave and take risks, and in the end It will all be worth it.
